Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar” to Return to IMAX Theaters for 10th Anniversary

Christopher Nolan’s masterpiece “Interstellar” is set to mark its 10th anniversary this November, and to celebrate, it’s returning to IMAX theaters this fall. Paramount Pictures announced during CinemaCon in Las Vegas that “Interstellar” will return to theaters on September 27, 10 years after its initial release. Fans can expect to see it in Nolan’s preferred format, including 70mm prints and digital screens.

Originally shot using a combination of 35mm anamorphic film and 65mm IMAX, the re-release aims to recreate the immersive experience of watching “Interstellar” on the big screen. Warner Bros., co-producers of the film, are collaborating with Paramount on this revival.

This isn’t the first time Nolan has delighted fans with a re-release. His 2020 hit “Tenet” also returned to theaters recently, offering audiences a chance to experience it on the big screen once more, especially after many missed out due to the pandemic.
